Just a quicky...

Can someone put on light on what this wire is from. I appear to have a brown and white wire coming of the main loom in the engine bay. It's a thin single wire with a white connector, from the looks of it has not been used for a while as the connector is gunked up. The next wire to come from the loom is the green wire routing to the temp switch.

I was wondering whether this could be the oil switch.? Any info welcomed

It could be???? Or it could be summat else LR wiring harnesses are full of unwanted/unused wires as they seem to make one harness and use it on all models. with all op0tions covered. You'd need to trace it back to source to be 100% certain.
