I put this in the engine bit as well. The small pipe that sticks out above the top oil connection on the rad 200tdi that has a thin rubber hose to the expansion tank.well I broke it off.how important is it can I just block the hole up or do I need to get the hose connected back on some how

Should be put back on,metal or plastic rad header?
