anyone ever used a britpart fuel pump on their p38 v8 range rover?did it last ok?just ordered a new one from island as the pipes were corroded at filter, and wouldnt slacken off so decided to replace them,so had to drop the tank, and the pump connections were almost rotten through:mad:dont fancy paying stealers prices as they were wanting about £280 +vat just for the pipes so making my own in 8mm copper.wouldnt like to think what they were wanting for a pump.

yes already bought it,but if they are crap, i can change out just the pump,as mine was still working,it was just the pipes on top that were rusty.

Had one fitted on mine a while ago. The pump's been OK but the fuel gauge is very slow to rise when you fill up and never indicates full - always stops at 3/4. Funnily enough it seems to go down fast enough though..........

I used the Britpart pump when I did mine, and have the exact same issues with the fuel gauge. Very slow to rise after filling up and never gets to full.

But not had any actual fuelling issues since I fitted it about a month ago. But time will tell.

Both pipes from fuel pump to fuel filter area were about £40 each. Don't know how much from filter area to engine would be.
