Hi all I have a 1990 3.5 Disco running on gas with carbs and need a bit of help.
I could do with some pics or a diagram of the breather pipes and flame traps on a std motor. Mine just dont look right but im not sure where they should go.
I did a search but no joy.
Can anyone help?

is it on strombergs?

because there is a good pic of the breathers for SU's on the thread below but I thought discos were strombergs.

Pretty sure its on SU carbs.
The link is ok but its not on std filter box so no good for me.
Thanks though.

if its on SU's I can help, mine is on a standard airbox, have a look at the album on my profile page, its the one for the 72 rrc

Nice one mate.
Good looking rrc I had a 74 about 20 years ago and always regretted selling it.

Thanks mate, yeah she is on here way up. starting the major work in march time when it warms up but have done all suspension and brakes so far plus got her running nicely with the help from Stuart. also I have dome all fluids and put a new rad in oh yeah and those nice magnecore leads

Well my disco is an early one 1990 and has been abused and as usual has problems but nothing major.
I gave a bit over the odds for it (1100) as it has plenty of MOT and Tax and an LPG kit.
It is a solid motor and has had loads of welding done in the past but they have made a decent job of it.The engine looks like its been messed around with looks like it has EFI heads on it as well.
Its only a weekend toy so will get done over time.

efi heads are alot better as they have the much imprved vale stem seals, I need a set
