I have a landy fitted with a series 3 petrol engine. it was running fine, albeit a little thirsty so I decided to fit the breakerless electronic ignition to replace the points (bought from Brookwell), to do this i had to change the distributor so bought the Lucas type from Paddocks together with new set of leads and spark plugs. Fitted the breakerless ignition and distributor with new leads and plugs and problems.... it runs on tickover fine but won't rev up, just coughs and splutters and cuts out. Does any one have any ideas? I have set the timing with strobe light and have checked all leads. Thanks in anticipation
