Good day friends....
Bessie has new shoes front and rear and the screaming and screeching whilst I try to stop has now ceased, thank F*#K.
However, the back breaks are binding on, and although I've slackened my adjuster nuts off as much as possible, they still stick.
We've bled the brakes, which ever since changing the shoes have been soft and spongy, but this has made no difference apart from finding a leaking rear cylinder. This is getting sorted as soon as Paddocks deliver the seal kit.
But, my problem is: how to I stop the shoes from binding. The car holds on a slight gradient with no pressure on the pedal or use of handbrake...it's magic, almost as if Mr Daniels (that's Paul, not Jack) was present.
So, am I being uber stoopid, or is there another way of screwing the cylinder pistons in that none of my books mention?
Cheers
