Yes I have the manual. However, that doesnt lift enough to compensate suspension drop. Wheels still touch the round.

Disco bottle jack under lower arm, then axle stand under chassis.
Only need to jack it a little for wheels to clear.
If like D3 as you jack the lower arm the car sees the movement and adds some more air thus lifting the wheel off the ground some more with no effort from yourself.

Is there not a setting on the suspension to lock it?
No idea on the rr? on d3 you just leave a door open or pull the comp fuse.
Car can see door open and will not operate suspension in case it damages someone or something.
P38 leave the tailgate up. Not exactly what meant. Sometimes cars have a transport or maintenance mode that locks the suspension.
I think thats how they come new on the transporter, but no idea if it is software or mechanical lock.
I just put a jack under it.

This what I done. However when you try to put the wheel back on that jack is in the way. I used the oem car jack. Had to. Lol
Nice to see I`m not the only one that seems to finish up with nearly every tool I own out when doing a job.
And thats just to get the covers off the wheel nuts lol.
Have you got something wrong with suspension?
