hi all...just a quick one
i have to replace 3 brake pipes for mot and one is the one that goes over the tank....will i be able to use a jointer and make a shorter pipe and will it pass mot with a joiner

yes nothing wrong with using a joiner

when making pipes look at the female fitting on car see if you need male or female flare on pipe
