Hi there
I am new to the forum. I have done a search but did not find much about this.
I would like to install a boost gauge on my 2004 TD4 but did not find much information.

What would be a good mounting spot for a boost gauge and are there any gauge pods or other mounting options available for this task?

Thanks for any advise.

Where does the hose connect to under the bonnet?
Also is there any particular range the boost gauge must cover to be accurate?

To the MAP sensor pipe in l-series. In TD4 can be connected to the wastegate pressure pipe on turbocharger.

Peak is 17 PSI, standard boost for L-series is 15 PSI, so 15 gauge is enough for standard ones. If using ronbox and change boost pressure should be 30 PSI. (peak will be 22 , standard 19 PSI)

Thanks for that.
I'm using the Synergy 2a so will go for a 30psi gauge.

Will try to find the turbo charger & waste gate!

Thanks for the info Winu. I will be going with the Ronbox so I will get the 30 PSI gauge.
