I know the rubber will be a little small (235 70 r16) but im hoping that they will make a usable set of road wheels for the time being (picked up the 110 last weekend, and it has mud tyres on it at present)

I may be wrong, but I thought there was a discussion before about the load rating on some alloys , that made them unfit for 110's.

As I say may be wrong , Maybe someone will be along later who can add more info on which ones if any are OK/NOK.

Cheers

Yep, that's what im after - ive read before that, for example, stock landrover discovery alloys are ok for the 90, but not for the 110.

"Deep dish" are ok for the 110, and so are "Boost" (as far as ive read!) but, with names like "Boost" and "Deep" being branded about, i have not so much confidence! : ) What im after is someone who actually knows about these things to cast their eye over them and give me the "yay" or "nay".

Do they not have a loadrating stamped on them? tbh I have never looked at my alloys on the Disco 2 to see if they have.

Cheers

Dont know yet - picking them up tomorrow.

I dont think the seller will know (or be inclined to look) and, whilst, im sure, he would be happy for me to turn them down, its a 1.5hr round trip...

They certainly look like all the other "boost alloy" wheels on the google image search, apart from the silver rim. Most black ones are black all over...

I have the same wheels on my 90, I seem to believe the grey with silver rim was the tomb raider edition wheel or something, but I may be wrong.
the way I see it is that Im pretty certain my 90 weighs 1600kg with a payload of 700kg, and the boost alloys come stock so must of been tested to take at least 2300kg, aslong as your 110 doesn't weigh more than that I cant see they would be a problem, I'm not an expert though so cant guarantee im correct

110s were supplied with Boost wheels from the factory in some cases, so they must be OK. Having said that, it's hard to tell if that's a Land Rover approved wheel or a cheap copy, so it's a bit hit and miss!

I purchased them, but have not fitted yet. There are numbers on the inside but I've not had a chance to clean them up well enough to read yet.

Thanks to everyone's help above.
