Hi guys
i went to open my bonnet yesterday and found that the cable seems to be stuck
i have a 200 tdi 90 and when i pull the cable it just stopps half way, as if that's as far as it's ever gone!!

any tips on how i can het it open?

remove front grill and use a pair of pliers or grips to manualy pull the cable to release it.
then once youve got it open take it all apart and clean and regrease all aprts and refit cable

Get someone to push down on the bonnet while you operate the release lever.

Mine has the tyre mounted on the bonnet and the weight of it pushes the spring down too far. I'm in the process of fitting a custom spring and plate underneath to get around this. (I hope!)
