I recently became the proud owner of a donated-for-free P38.
After an initial EAS failure + a flat battery (day 2 of stewardship) and one more hiccup with the EAS she's running ok.
I've triumphantly fixed a couple of all-too-common niggles many thanks to this site (flooded spare wheel compartment and sticking tailgate)
She passed her CT (French MOT) with only one small advisory for a leaky rocker cover gasket.
None of my EAS fixing could have happened without;
1. Data cable provided by the previous owner plus he showed me where all the bits were under the bonnet (big thanks to Bill)
2. Many excellent easy-to-follow videos on youtube by RSW Solutions (and free software for download)
3. A step-daughter more PC savvy than me
Now when the pump (which is not long for this world) has a tantrum I can sort it out, reset the fault and motor on till I get the wedge together to order a brand-new one from Germany.
