Hi all.
I was on here the other week asking about tyres types. Thanks for all the help !.
Ive decided to go for the Recips in either a 265 / 70 or 75 R16. They are the same price on EBay (£350). Ive looked on the "Land Rover Discovery Tire Fitment Guide", but I dont fully understand the terms, Rear fender trimming and Front endcap trimming. Ive read all the info about the camel cuts and I can do that with no problem. Ive got no front splitter or ends (are these the endcaps). Any chance anyone could just put a circle on a drawing before I buy the tyres and realise what I need to cut is way beyond my capability.
Also where can I get the steering stops and bump stops ? I was under the impression from my research that you could avoid rubbing on the radius arm by ajusting the steering lock screw ?
Am am not intending to do a lift in the short term. Im putting larger tyres on purely for clearance under the car, no other reason.
Thanks Guys !
