howdy folks,i have not long joined the wonderful world of landrovers,i have always wanted a tax exempt ser111 so one day on my travels round the farms of lanarkshire i came across an old 109 in a silage pit,it is a 1971 109 safari ser111 and also was fitted with a galvanised chassis which was fitted about 20 yrs ago by our local landy expert and was still in very good condition.so you can now understand why i had to purchase this vehicle.(not that the rest of it was in fantastic condition, but it has a galvanised chassis)anyway i could be here all night talking about it,so i wont,i will eventually get pictures on once i have sorted out my tempramental usb ports.i am now very hooked on my landy and cant wait to get it on the road or off road!
cheers,boab

welcome boab, no doubt yule get somestick from the hairdressers about finding yer landy in a **** pit, but don't worry about it they is just jealous that even after X years lying in a farm its still starts and runs. we have a vast amount of knowledge among us and some of it is even relevant
