Ok have a 1996 Disco 1 3.9 efi running on gas.
my problem is I have what sounds like a manifold leak. So have stripped manifold off changed all gaskets to the block and the CAT's but still the problem is there I loose a bit of power too.
however when the car is up to temp and I stop cut the engine, then re-start it appears to be gone and power is resumed until the engine cools a little then it returns but I can only hear this when the car is under load if I am on the drive I cannot hear it? so am pretty confident it is not a exhaust gasket.
any idea's?
