As the title says...

My 2.5 NA is chucking out a lot of black smoke, not too bad during daylight, but its like a smokescreen in car headlights at night....

Pos causes? Methinks maybe injectors are shot.

What other things could it be, using oil but not at any rate.. power seems variable one day she goes like stink another day gutless..


Any ideas/thoughts.

how clean is you air filter a clogged airfilter is a commom cause for excessive sooty smoke

Good thinking.

Its an oil bath one, did change the oil recently but not sure how to clean the filter part so left it alone...

Washed mine with petrol, not sure if yer sposed too but seemed to do the trick

either petrol or thinners will do the job

try redx or greenx what ever is made for diesel's injector's
