was it smokey before the new chip ?
Chipping any derv truck will make more smoke if it's chipped for power , more fuel more smoke , unless its evil bad leave alome or rechip to standard .Never sure about chipping , couple of hundred quid , who knows more than the man who spent millions developing the car and years getting it right ? gets out done by a man who designed a chip to throw in more fuel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??

my 200 tdi is wound right up it bellows out black smoke under load,but i wouldnt change it

Based on the very limited information you have put in your post, I,d say that it has be re-mapped poorly !
