Has anyone had any experience of the Black Door Cards that are available from Britpart, I know but it is a non mechanical part so what can go wrong?

I have a red and black theme on the 90 and it looks silly with the original grey door cards

Are they the same sort of finish as the original ones or will i be disappointed and wish I hadn't bothered?

These are the ones I have been looking at

Would you try spraying your old ones?.....

The aftermarket ones are a (fairly) rigid plastic and not soft like the OE ones so if you don't want this finish then don't go for the aftermarket ones (BP or otherwise).

What sort of paint did you use to respray them? And did it last / does it still look good?
Hi Simon, I just used a cheap Matt Black, no preparation other than a good wash and dry. They've held up really well other than a few scuffs from feet near the bottom....

Thanks very much. I've bought some primer, paint and lacquer (and some door card removal tools - awaiting arriving). Going to be a job for September.

I bought some aftermarket black ones a few years ago. Possibly britpart, I can't remember. But they looked ****e and cheap! Spray the originals or get them upholstered.
