which oils or which landys?

Why don't you try doing a search? You may just find the answer.

bio diesel is ok but straight cooking oil will gum up your piston rings after a while.A lot of people have have different opinions on cooking oil saying that it is ok to use but at the end of the day it is your engine and your decision so if it all goes tits up you can only blame yourself. The 300 tdi disco seems to run very well on bio with no problems at all,but if you use bio make sure you change your fuel filter after a couple of hundred miles as bio is a very good cleaning agent and so clogs your filter.after you change your filter everything should run as normal if not better.

there are quite a few companies selling bio-diesel made out of PALM OIL. This is due to dodgy suppliers. make sure that you know what you are putting in your tank before doing it.:eek::eek:

You do know there's a difference huh?

You do know BioDiesel is nothing like the same thing as cooking oil?

TD5 engines are especially good with both BioD and SVO (straight vegetable oil).

I have used many hundreds of litres of BioD in mine, and a few hundreds of SVO.

BioD is the best fuel of them all. Smoother running, more oooomph , more mpg, cleaner exhaust.
