Easy question here fellow Disco'ites. How do you remove the binnacle switch/switches, I'm thinking of fitting cruise control on my 2000 td5. Going to have a look to spy if the cruise wiring is there.

Thanks.

if i'm correct in thinking, then the cruise control wire you seek will be sat behind the airbag.

There are two sets of wires, with the proper connectors; one set is in the steering wheel, behind the airbag and the other set is behind the blank in the right hand side of the instrument binnicle.

Thinking about it you will also prob have to get someone with a reader to tell the cars ecu it's now got cruise control

Hi,
No you won't - I fitted cc to mine a few weeks ago and it's "plug & play"
Hardest part was cutting the hole in the steering wheel for the switch. If you buy the kit it comes with a template.

Out of interest, what kit did you buy?

Thanks,

Same as above link. R&C 4x4. The face lift kit is both black switches. Your's will be diferent I believe but site lists both. This kit contains screws/bracket and template to cut hole.

i already have the binnacle button, is there a similar kit with just the switch you attach to the steering wheel?
