Hi , Just about to purchase my first Freelander SD4, tyres are not great I'm hearing good things about the BF Goodrich KO2 all terrain, any thoughts or recommendations would be welcome.

They can be very noisy on a monocoque vehicle, as there's no separate chassis it insulate the body from the buzz of the treads.
They're good off road, but only mediocre on the road, especially in wet.

I'm fitted Yokohama Geolander AT 015 when my current tyres are out.
Geolander's are good all round tyres, which grip on wet tarmac as good as premium road tyres, but are good off road, and are 3 peaks winter rated too.

I've ogto a set of BFG' AT's on mine, and they are certainly liveable with - and they last for ages. The KO2's are meant to be more civilised than my OG old AT's, so I thknk you should be fine with them.

I run K02s daily, yep bit noisy but how much that extra noise is an issue is down to the individual, from my point of view I barely notice it any more. Never had any butt clenching moments in the wet very happy with them.

I'm very happy with my KO2s. As mentioned they can be noisy when daily driving but you get used to it.
The only negative I can say is no matter what 30-45 PSI I put in the tyres with my TF suspension, I still feel every bump in the road.
I will also add they are HEAVY!!!!
