I'm considering buying a Range Rover and having it converted to Lpg. Which engine is better with Lpg, the 4.0 or the 4.6?

Also can anyone reccomend a company in the North East to carry out the conversion?

I dont really know a lot about either engines (apart from their both thirst!).

But i have been told that the earlier V8's didn't like LPG.

The best engine for LPG is one with pistons and spark plugs

Doesn't matter which engine you choose they're all going to run on LPG provided it is set up correctly.

You may have to get a few other parts for the fuel injection systems
