For me, 90 van with 300TDi engine. TD5 is a close call but the electronics and slightly greater complexity/cost if something goes wrong, combined with no real advantage off road, swings it. We have a 90 TD5 at the farm and its been reliable. Also, the family have a 'fleet' of Disco D3s.
