P38 guy

Hi how are you all doing I'm suspecting the chassis is bent from an old accident. And I got a few symptoms that as I think is from bent chassis which is the bumper and bull bar are facing downwards from the passenger side (Ihd) and normal from the driver side and the car looks like it's going sideways when driving.

Anyone here got a p38 with bent chassis got the same symptoms or something like it? And did someone here have good luck fixing a bent p38 chassis? Because I don't feel like writing it off.

What are your symptoms & what was the accident?

J
It was fixed poorly by an idiot, the front end wasn’t completely crushed, it was hit from the side then dad lost control and hit a wall in the right side

I don’t remember but it didn’t work out
That will be why the tyres wear then. Could be suspension/steering components which are bent rather than chassis. If the chassis is bent that badly I would have thought a bit of measuring would show where the damage is, or looking carefully might show up a damaged chassis rail.

How could i measure? Also I replaced all the drivetrain after the accident

Did you have a "proper" wheel alignment done with four wheel laser alignment?
Ideally take it to a professional workshop with the item I linked to for frame measurements.
If you replaced everything and the steering can't be aligned within spec then the chassis must be bent. Can you buy a new chassis?
