C clivees Well-Known Member Apr 23, 2007 #5 I like my plan Find a nut that fits. Assuming that no one has f**k around with it befor. According to the book the original bolts would have been on a 2 /2a 2.25 petrol. 3/8 UNF x 1 3/4 long and 3/8 UNF x 1 1/8 long

C CV12 New Member Apr 23, 2007 #6 The threads in the flywheel housing are 3/8 unc, the threads on the other end of the studs are 3/8 unf, and therefore so are the nuts.
