No, only early 80's had them behind the grill. 107 production models did not arrive until 1955.
Post 51 the 80 inch headlights came out of the grill and side lamps moved from bulkhead to wings.
Funny thing but prototype 107's had a rounded cab with one piece screen,[ very like those of the rare 80 inch station wagon] one piece doors with glass not perspex and wind up windows with car like door handles! But for some reason not chosen for production. [ cost standardisation of parts I recon.]

Those aren't the ones in the pic? Are they super all grips? Had something similar years ago
doh… Those 2 were off the 80”
As for the 107…waiting for repies.

I know she has just had some 900’s for the forward controll shipped in from Holland this week so could be any where.

Flippin eck they are dear!! I've got some originals but hate to imagine how old they are

What year is this?
Getting very confused now regarding holes in the front panel
Think early series one had one upright oblong hole (as in above)
Some have four apertures (holes)
Series two seem to have three
And series three have the two outer holes enlarged
And around 1954 for my 107 they had ??? how many?
Need a rivet counter 🤔

It’s a 1857/58
These S1 are only a year build apart & you can see other difference.

Grills different, even more confused now 🤔 :D:D

Oh I am no rivet counter… if something looks good down scaled fair play to the builder
The more I look into it the harder it is to decide
I need to widen my chassis which is good, the engine may just drop in below the chassis line . waiting to find out how wide the chassis is so I can scale it down and see if it fits.
