Hi Everone, yet another newbie.

Can anyone explain why i get thre double beeps when i turn of the ignition. There are no lights or anything switched on. Vehicle is a 2005 facelift td4 3 door. New batteries fitted to remote so dont think its that or is it supposed to beep when i turn ignition off

Not quite up on the newer FLs but obvious things like, are you opening the door first before switching off or is there a window open even a little bit or something stuck in the rubber channels? Give all the door catches a good squirt of old faithful (WD), shut the doors and try again.

its normaly the batteries in fob [needs replacement] :) however sometimes if the temp outside is really cold , on some motor's there is a real glitch [mine do's it] ignor it and in warmer condition its fine . . . . .

Doors open before locking = one short beep from horn
Lights left on when opened drivers door = constant eletrical beep
Batteries in fob = Two fast beeps until the key is inserted after unlocking and opening drivers door.

That rules out the above. Does the LED on the dash flash when you turn off ignition at all?

Some radios do it, we had a Sony one in our previous freelander that beeped in a pattern twice when you turned the ignition off and removed the key.
