As part of the purchase of my 110 I got 3 spare injectors (1 had already been installed). As the rest of them must have mission-to-the-moon mileage on them I'm debating fitting the rest to help with the mileage a bit.

However, they're Bearmach - a brand i do not normally hold in high regard.

The question is this - worth fitting - and what should I check before I do stick them in my engine?

what engine ? if lucas injectors your better of getting your old ones renozzled at a local injection specialist

well, it's in the 2.5 na section :D

And the engine is a 2.5D. I am going to eventually be replacing it with a 2ooTDi - negotiating for a set of manifolds to fit as we speak. For the moment, though, I want to keep this engine is a good nick as possible - hence the question.

I will likely get the present injectors reconditioned as spares as this engine is going to see further use - but finding someone here that can handle Lucas is not quite as simple as there. Surprisingly though, Lucas CAV stuff was used here...on tractors. :)

used in a lot at one time ,it is only the nozzles they change and reset opening pressure , your bm one might be ok but the recon ones bought in have often been poor in my experience, and a poor injector can burn a piston out
