Hi.
Am new to site so hope I am putting question in right place? Just acquired full length galvanised roof rack from Bearmach for my 110. Surprised to find it was not supplied with rubber feet to avoid metal-to-metal contact. Spoke to their spares department and they don't appear to supply anything like that.
Has anyone got any advice on how best to fit roof rack without causing lasting damage?
Thanks, Andrew

Thanks! Helps with recycling too!!! Assuming single thickness is enough? And did you do same between clamp and underside of gutter? Andrew

Yes I just cut pieces that folded under the rack and over the gutter so the clamps were also spaced off the gutter.
I'll take a picture later when it cools down if that helps?

My 110 has got a big galva roofrack and the feet are metal to metal in the gutter. It's my daily work vehicle, get's loaded with anything from 10m beams to full camping kit for a family of 5 through the dessert twice and back and have never had a problem .
