I have 2 battery's in the disco. I've put the charger on them both and they are pretty much full down to 2.5amp on charge meaning basically full. Can someone tell me why when I start the car it makes the noise as if they are more or less flat and struggling to start then it starts?

Are they faulty or what?

I'd be looking at new batts.

Got a numax cxv-x on mine and it's started before I even finish turning the key

waste of time - having two batteries of different capability will pull the good one down in next to no time.

depending how they are are wired up.

So 2 replacement battery's ideally then. I take it the recommendation are one of the best choices I just say there a good price

put a vo;t meter between the engine and battery - then crank the engine. If you get a voltage you have a bad earth

Gonna get volt meter

Red to be on what part battery n black to be on engine? Stupid question but not from someone who don't no

Brilliant also you might laugh but would I use a volt meter to test is the rear wiper is getting power if so how?

Just put the red on the motor then black on the body/chassis
you could try that, but it wont tell you anything if the battery earth lead is at fault, would be better if you came direct from the battery -
you could always try a jump lead from the battery - to the engine and see if that starts any easier

Top cat I meant to see if I can get an idea for the rear wiper motor.

As for the battery's I will have to find out I've asked the seller so let me see what he says

If not will hunt down some answers trace some wiring. One battery's one side ones the other though
