Hi all
Trying to figure out why my battery keeps draining over night, the batt is less than 6 months old works fine during the day. Only really started draining as the weather started turning, any ideas or tips plz

have you tried disconnecting it at night to make sure it is actually a drain, not just a fubard battery (it has been known even at 6 months old)
quite normal for a battery that's on its way out to be fine during the day, but not able to get going in a morning.
failing that, multimeter to see how big the drain is (on amps, in series with the system (ie disconnect earth and put meter in between the battery and earth lead DO NOT TURN THE IGNITION ON WITH THE METER IN THERE The least you will blow the fuse, the worst the meter may go bang), then pull fuses one at a time to see when the drain dissapears.

Or get a DC clamp meter like me

multimeters a bit cheaper though

one thing I havnt got, or found a need for is a clamp meter.
