Hi all,

I have been investigation battery drain issues and have measured the power drain at just around 700mA which is far too high. My understanding is that it should be around 100mA while not in use.

I've identified the following significant draws:

Fuse 11 - 20mA
Fuse 12 - 170mA
Fuse 13 - 50m
Fuse 20 - 10mA
Fuse 24 - 10mA
Fuse 27 - 120mA
Fuse 43 - 10mA
Fuse 46 - 270mA

Where:
Fuse 11 = Central Locking, External Mirrors, Electric Windows – Front
Fuse 12 = Air Conditioning, Heated Seats – Front
Fuse 13 = Anti-Lock Braking System, Dynamic Stability Control, Transmission, Interior Clock
Fuse 20 = Driver's Seat, Steering Column Adjust
Fuse 24 = Central Locking, Exterior Mirrors Electric Windows – Front
Fuse 27 = Glove Box Light, Interior Lights, Windshield Washers
Fuse 43 = Alarm
Fuse 46 = Instruments Cluster

I have removed fuse 12 for now (the air con needs a recharge and I don't need the heated seats).

So my questions are, any ideas/common faults on the power consumption for the instrument cluster that I can focus my attention on?
Same question for Fuse 27, any common faults with any of those items?
Do the other lower ones look normal?

Thanks in advance.

That sounds like the car hadn't gone to sleep. How long did you leave it with the ignition off?

I think you might be right, as I was inside the car measuring the draw from the fuse box one by one and think that I may have interrupted the sleep by pulling other fuses, I'm not sure how long it takes to go to sleep?
