Just thought id shout out about my new buy
just bought myself a set of hurricanes with peeling lacquer and shot tires

Range Rover 18" Alloys | eBay
but when I picked them up I couldent belive what id got
the wheels are in need of a referb but nowere neer what i expected,which im gona do myself today (ill come back to that) but the tires are all pirelli scorpions with a good 4-6mm tred left on!


and how much did I pay????
£30 and had a great day out in cleethorpes with the wife and kids when I went to pick them up win win
anyway im gona repaint them today and was thinking of maby replicating finches with the colour coded spoke what you guys think?
anyone got a good quality image of a finch wheel

Been looking on google and not sure which way to go
Holland and Holland have just a green accent on the spoke which looks nice where as overfinch have gone full spoke colour coded which will be easyer but maby ott
sugestions?

im likeing the bottom one with the accents rather than full spoke poor quality pic i know but the best i could find

I agree! Go with the accents, I paid £250 for perfect wheels and nearly new tyres which I thought was a bargain just for tyres

Whats the best way to strip the blistered finish off?
I was thinking one of those flap sanding drums on a slow drill but dont know if it would eat into the metal?

Been out and got some paints but the epsom green ive asked for is way too bright to be the same colour as my car
looking at my avatar above what colour is it?

I have a BMW man here where I work wheels stripped fixed and painted tyres removed put back on balanced ..... Wait for it £55 per + vat mates rates shame your not closer
By the way I am jeleous

Under bonnet, above N/S headlight. Should be a sticker with VIN No and in the bottom left corner is the paint code

quick search on google says im right epsom green but the spray ive bought isnt so eather somones swoped the cap or there just lieing lol

Absolute bargain, nice one! I bought four bare rims for £40 the other day which I thought was good but your deal takes the cake, especially as I've just spent about £600 on tyres to go on them!

I'd go for plain silver if it was me, but if not, maybe the H&H look?
