Dear gentle chaps,
The banjo union connector on the pump end of the fuel line from the top of my CAV injector pump to the 296 filter is busted, so I need to order a replacement, my dodgy measuring makes the internal diameter of the old fitting 11mm. I can find loads of 8,10 & 12mm; so should I go for a 12mm with 6mm tail, or the 1/2 unf jobby, I've seen on ebay recommended for the CAV 296 fuel filter assembly. It sounds much to big, but I'm not sure if the 1/2 inch refers to the internal diameter of the fitting or something more exotic.
