I could do with some help on this part I’m having trouble finding. In the picture I have ringed in blue the part I need, it is part 42 in the picture which is the ball joint/ track rod end! The part number is 231184 but when I put this into Paddocks or John Craddock it’s not recognised. The first picture shows the part I need the second picture shows the downloaded catalogue I use.
Am I using the right downloaded catalogue and is Paddocks and Craddock the right places to get parts from? I greatly appreciate any help given

All 6 of the ball joints in your pic are the same except that some are normal thread and some are left hand thread.
After many years you never know which one is on which end of the rod's steering or track. All you need are series ball / track rod ends, one of each.

Thank you, yeah I found that out by accident when trying to screw ball joint in, I scratched me head for about 5mins then tried other way! Boy was I happy when I did lol. Appreciate your help

Note the superceded number is now 320902
As mentioned inspect the thread 1st as rod might be on opposite way around.
Thanks again sir. Is Blanchards the place to use for parts or are they like Paddocks and Craddock where one has some of what I need then the other normally has the other bits I need! Really appreciate your help sir.
 
You have to be very careful with series ball joints, there are two main types, shouldered and fully threaded, they do fit each other but they are dangeroius.
Early cars should be shouldered, later ones full thread, not sure on year change? so do not assume that what is fitted is indeed correct.
 
Blanchards good , they are retiring so business closing in a year or two, decent parts at good prices

No worries there I took notice of thread length when searching on paddocks. All the ball joints are full length thread. Appreciate your help

Were the rods fully threaded inside as well or smooth bore for the first inch or so?
