Hi
I can manage and fix most things on my 93 disco 3.9 V8 but this problem has me stumped. Not a simple fix this I expect but here goes.:doh:With battery connected and ignition off drivers side indicators on.Pull every fuse on box under dash(200 series old girl) and they wont go out unless you pull alarm system fuse.Engine will not start, fuel pump runs, spark at plugs but no fuel to injectors, have even tried hot wiring injector relay but this doe'nt seem to have any effect.you can pull both plugs on alarm module and the indicators still wont go out, pull alarm relay and yes they go out but engine still wont start.Central locking from remote works all 5 doors lock and unlock, you can here the alarm module clicking, and indicators flash on locking. She's an auto and the inhibitor switch is operating correctly. She's a 14cux ecu amr 3276 and alarm module amr 2109 if that helps.I have all my relays exposed under the dash and have swopped changed nearly every one as well as disconnecting every loom plug on the engine bulkhead to see if indicator would go out which of course they did,nt.I've been at this problem for over a year and have no hair left:confused:any ideas would be greatly recieved. Thanks

Cant stop on long, but have you tried nipping the connectors on the back of the lights up and cleaning the earth to the lights along with the spade connectors on the bulbs & loom connectors?

I'm not too familiar with the set up on the Disco but perhaps 3 things to look at.

1: Alarm spider (if it has one).
2: Earth problem - injectors are earth switched. Take off clean and reassemble all the earth points you can find, especially on the injection loom.
3: If you can, borrow a known good ecu and substitute it with yours.

Have you checked the fusible links that go from the battery positive terminal back along the inner wing - they are famous for going green and not passing current. This leads to allsorts of weird problems.....

Have just put this engine in a 90 and have the same problem with the lights but as I am using standard loom and disco engine loom it must be a earth, I have sanded my chassis down to bare and hammerited it sounds good but struggling for a good earth. And for the injectors there is a White plug about 10 pin u will have a thick brown and solid White these are the only two wire required for engine to run to use power probe to put a positive to the two wires and she should fire into life the White is ign live and brown is per live, ECU should be fine I put 24 volts through mine by mistake and still works fine. Hope this helps let me know how u get on, if your not sure if u have the right conector or wires let me know and I will explain in simpler terms. :welcome2:p
