hi folks . well the effing thing has decided to stop again . after replacing the water pump last week .in the process removing the pulley wheel .i now relise the bolts needed locktite on as two have came out , this has jammed the wheel and shredded the belt . does this auxillary belt affect timing . ? (last straw.com)

No not as a rule, but if you're really unlucky the shredded belt may have found it's way through the covers and wrapped around the bottom pulley, taking the cambelt out. The water pump pulley bolts do not need locktite if you do em up right.
