I've been running a new 90 for the last few months preping it for the rigors of our farm before it takes over the rains from my dads hilux pickup.
Its been a while since we had a Landrover and the last one we had was certainly a little less refined than this one, being a clapped out 10year old diesel turbo 110.
After driving an isuzu tropper my self for the last year it's a big change going to the Landrover. Pretty much all practicallity and comfort goes out of the window, but the simplicity of the Landrover and the sturdyness compared to the Trooper and Hilux is very refreshing. Like our tractor, it does everything it needs to do much better than either of the other 2 vehicles we have and after the maintenance/information support problems I have had with my Trooper I am seriously considering swapping my Trooper for a second, older 90. Something that I Know will break down on me and need fixing all the time, but something that I can fix without fuss and with a wealth of Maintenance information readily avialable behind it.
I'm hoping that joining this form will help with this and that I might return the favour as well from time to time.
