It's been a long and torturous journey, but after 7 weeks my 20001 TD5 ES Auto is back on the road and running better than ever :)

Fuel pump failure (only 3 months old) mis-diagnosed by local garage, and went through replacing 3 injectors before they gave up. Took the car to Mike at Kent 4x4 Centre, and he replaced fuel pump with LR genuine, and all OK. Whilst there he diagnosed failing auto gearbox flexi-plate so replaced that and fitted Ashcroft HD torque convertor whilst was gearbox out. What a difference that makes - so much smoother.

Replaced 18" wheels with 16" and fitted Vredestein Wintrac winter tyres which has made a much more comfortable ride.

Finished all off with visit by Mike from Dynachip to carry out Stage 1 re-map which makes engine feel free again. Whilst here he also diagnosed failing MAF sensor so I have purchased genuine LR part to fit later.

Really happy with Adrian Flux - rang them and notified mods to find no increase in fees.

Expensive couple of months, but car feels fantastic. Can highly recommend all who have helped to get it this far :) :)

Thanks all.

I've read people slate Flux on loads of different forums but they've always been excellent with me. Congrats on getting your Disco back.
