After 4 years driving a Volvo XC90 i finally decided it was time to get back into the Landrover Game and bought a 2001 pre-facelift TD5 disco in "Adventurer" Spec.

It needs a little TLC in a few places but is generally sound, no obvious rust and, perhaps more importantly, no obvious internal damp. One non-functional electric window (back left) and some cosmetic repair needed to an old battle scar on the rear offside corner, but otherwise seems in pretty good nick. The other huge task that needs doing is it needs a towbar fitted... and pronto!

To give a bit of background, I live in Bristol, currently work as a web designer but am in the process of setting up a business teaching outdoor skills such as bushcraft (a large part of the reason for the return to a landrover) and in my spare time i run a Scout Group. My previous job used to include teaching people how to safely drive offroad so i'm no stranger to using a proper 4wd, but its been a while since i've had my own to lovingly repair and improve!

My car history is definitely varied:

2005-2007 - Ford Fiesta
2007 - Volvo 850 Estate
2007-2008 - Landrover Discovery 200tdi (light blue, 1993 L)
2008-2010 - Landrover Discovery 300tdi (dark blue, 1996 P)
2010-2011 - Vauxhall Astra 1.7 Estate
2011 - Landrover DIscovery 300tdi (Dark Green, 1995 N)
2011-2012 - Ford Mondeo 2.0 Petrol
2012-2016 - Volvo XC90 (Graphite, 2005 54)
2016-Present Landrover Discovery II (Dark Green, "Adventurer", 2001 Y)
