Done a search and there is plenty on camping but nothing on hotels?

Just wondering if there is any that dont mind a few muddy defenders turning up. And ideally within walking distance from a pub!

A few of us essex boys stayed at Lon Lodges - Self Catering Luxury Accommodation with Hot Tub in Mid-Wales
They had a field we could all park in and the nightly cost per person wasn't too bad if you are a bigger group.
Its in the right area for strata and some other good lanes.

The Starling Cloud, Aberystwyth - Marston's Inns & Guest Houses

Black Lion Hotel, Accommodation, Ceredigion, West Wales (Friend stayed here a few weeks back on a laning trip and said it was good)

The Miners Arms Pontrhydygroes Aberystwyth, b & b accommodation, restaurant and more

Cheers for the replys. Ill look into them. Waking up cold wet and muddy last time I camped on the lane just ruined the day after for me an I just wanted to go home.

Or if you want to be literally 1/2 a mile from the start of strata you could stay here,its a bit basic and you will need to bring your own food and drink but its cheap,warm and dry (it has a log fire to curl up in front of)

The Hafod Hotel | Devil's Bridge, Aberystwyth, SY23 3JL Tel: 01970890232 is another, in Devil's Bridge. I know that Dutch 4x4 folk tend to stop with them from time to time.
