Is it possible and/or prackicale to bolt the axles on the other sides of the springs in order to gain extra ground clearance.

Or am i just beeing silly!

it has been done before but i dint think its practical.. that stud for locating the axle fer one thing. you could turn them upside down then yer diff drain and vent would be in the wrong place etc etc

I am sure that would be no problem to them Slob as all they would need to do is role it over unto its roof to change the diff oil!

Then your diff would be pointing the wrong way, so you would have to modiffy your prop with the aid of sum elabrate brackatary in order for it to work.

Sounds like alot of work for not too much benifit. i think i will stare at her till i come up with another silly idea.

if yer diff is facing the rear, just turn the axle round so that the o/s becomes the n/s etc etc, swap the vent for the drain plug and robert is yer mothers brother as they say ;)

then you would have to turn your gear box upside down in order for your props to line up. changing gear may be a probloem!

whilst on the silly season subjects, has anyone seen an all independant suspension setup? (landy) either all four corners or just an IRS?

the jag XJ6 back axle looks like a possible candidate for the rear?

i can see this thing turning into a monster truck 5 brazillion HP injun and four wheel steer wiff flip up body

you could go mitsabushi l200 front setup ware you have a centre mounted diff with 2 drive shafts and a dubble wishbone suspention setup.
