Looking to pic up my s1 disco at the start of nov. So starting to collect bits does anyone know the od diameter of the axle breathers as after looking at kits on ebay its the same pipe and fitting as a ro kits I use for my marine tank, and after working in the motor trade I can get the pipe from one of my former contact cheap so can anyone help me please.

When I made my breather kit I used 6mm o/d pipe. Used all new push fittings everywhere too. Worked out a lot cheaper than buying a kit off the shelf.

Plus I could nab a few fittings(mainly the threaded ones that fit in axle/boxes) from work as we use the same stuff for our compressed air.

So far both axles have been extended and so have gearbox and transfer box. Just got timing cover and PS pump to do.
