Hi, as above, the fan on gearbox cooler on my 2000 dse is on all the time, I hope its just a sensor but I would like some Advice please on wot it could be and is it a common thing. Thank andy :D

Sensor most likely assuming it runs with the engine cold. Easy to prove, just disconnect the sensor on the cooler.

Rite, yes it runs all the time, were is the sensor? had a look this morning and cant see a sensor on the cooler, will go and have a better look now I know there is a sensor on it. Thanks.

Either on the end plate of the cooler or one of the pipes IIRC.

Found it, woz very hard to see it I followed the wires down to it on the end plate, a little black thing with two screws each side, un plugged it and the fan stopped so will get one sorted some time next week, Thanks for your help. :D
