My name is Alan and live in Titchfield. In the past I have owned a number of freelanders. Now looking to purchase my first Discovery. Really looking for a pre2003 and I was wondering apart from personal choice is there any benefits/disadvantages to getting an automatic over a manual. My preference is for manual but am I just being biased? Are there other things I should be looking at. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
