Please can anyone help. The selector on my gearbox has been a bit sticky for a while but now refuses to select drive either in auto or manual.

As pointed out to me I should have included the facts that she is a Disco 3 2007, TDV6 SE, auto box.

Might be helpful if you were to put the vehicle details in ie what year/what engine?


According to your info you have a 1.8 petrol Freelander????

there is a bush that needs lubricating on the end of the selector mechanism, under the car, on top of the box
