Hi Guys, I have a P38 2.5D Auto which now only drives in reverse.I have seen from previous threads on here that it appears the A clutch is at fault. I have taken out the gearbox and wonder if this is a difficult DIY fix. Are the parts readily available?
I would appreciate any advice.

for the time and the hassel i would go for a recon unit even though i did do the course many years ago
i replace with a ashcroft unit very good quality

it is usual fault if you stand gear box on end with bell housing up you can remove bell housing and then pump housing,the first cluth pack is A ,lr supply full clutch assembly but you can buy plates seperate ,look at next clutch to see if okay ,black burnt light brown good you can tell without stripping clutch pm if you do need parts ,or you could phone me if needed talking thru it
