I've just bought a 1995 300Tdi auto. Generally everything seems fine. I haven't driven an auto much before and only one other auto disco, so i'm nit sure what is normal. this one has just done 100k. the issue is that when bringing the car to a stop it feels like it is stalling very slightly. any ideas?

Also how do i go about repairing the surface bubbling around the rear lights?

As u have a diesel I can't help with the feeling of the engine stalling but it not caursed by the auto gearbox. With the paint all you can do is remove the lamps rub down the area prime and spray on a top coat. Lots of info on spray painting different metals can be found on the web.
