A friend had his Defender locks trashed in an attempted theft from his work car park (with people coming and going all afternoon through the car park) a few days before Christmas.
They didn't manage to get it, but, completely trashed the lock - which was a shame as the other side was right up against the wall so it took forever to get in and open the door from the inside!
