im not very clued up on bio fuel but in theory could i pour that in and run me diesel gaylander on it with no additives?

yes you can - however as the weather is chilly I would recomend 50/50 mix with regular diesel or 20% mix with petrol:crazy_driver:

And at the min that is cheaper than Costco as the charge £17.99 for 20 Litres? you can get 21 Litres from Asda for £17.50

ive just ordered 60 ltrs online at asda.com....lets see if they will honour it!

I use 60litres + 12 litres of petrol and a splash of regular diesel to fill the Rangie when I've not made Bio - this will see me through a week, as I cover 40 miles each way to work and back 5 days a week.

It's sluggish in the cold weather though

I went 3 weeks with just Veg oil and petrol no pump diesel at all went in and I run my tank from top to bottom every week

Mate i believe ya, just seemed odd, im gonna do 50/40 diesel split and 10% petrol, in fact im goin to go Asda now then to forecourt and give it a go :)

ive been running mine on 90% veg and 10% petrol for the past month. No problems.

How often should i be changing the filter with the oil fuel mix?

once you're running on this stuff regally you shouldn't need to increase the service intervals

you'll know if you need to change it - sluggish when on motorways or high revs

you will notice your engine runs much quieter though :car:
